Story
It was not only Ricky that Rixende had taken with her to train. She olso had brought her stallion with her, since he was in need of some much needed love. Storm had been a gift from her mother. A stallion bred for he rmothers mare, Ragnarokh, with none other then Coldalo'naj. She had used him far to often as a recreation horse, but in the past few years, she had begun to see the vallue of the horse. After some days at ERS, she had enough en decided to go out, see the world and ride some competitions. First on her list was a dressage one and she had chosen Storm to be her compagnion.
Grooming the stallion before the competition, she was amazed at how beautifull he had become. Sure, he could use some more mussle perhaps here and there, but still. Okay, he was not his father Cold, with the almost insanly long manes and tail or all muscular, but he would grow into it. She hoped he had a sliver of his fathers talent for dressage. If only a bit of it, she would already be more then proud of the big boy. She stilled dreamed of seeing the two stallions together, but it was like Cold and his rider Nathalie had fallen of the earth after the HARPG Olympics.
the sun was already setting when she was done tacking the stallion and went outside to warm up. Beneath her, she could feel the fluid motions of the horse, clearly enjoying the fact that he could ride and even more the fact that he would be able to show of very soon.
Once they entered the ring, they let the public know who's children had entered. Rixende herself as the daughter of her father Seth. Third place in the Jumping at the AUSe-Olympics and Storm truly his fathers son. Coldalo'naj, two time HARPG Olympics Dressage champion. They both had the competing spirit. It was now time to show the world what they were made of.
After their final greeting, Rixende patted the stallion on the neck. "We'll show the world boy. We'll show them that our fathers can be proud of us." Storm snorted in agreement.
